These delicious chia pots were created by @elainasydney and topped with our delicious Red Dates. Try them at home for a nutritious and convenient breakfast
Recipe: Chia Pots topped with Jujubes - Vegan, GF
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup chia seeds
- 2 cups non-dairy mylk of your choice
- 1 cup non-dairy yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons of maple or golden syrup
- 1 bag of Jujube fruit, cut into small pieces
Method
- Combine the ingredients in a small bowl, then pour into pots. Leave out a few jujubes as garnish.
- Chill to thicken. Refrigerate overnight to thicken the pudding. Chia pots are set when the seeds swell to almost double their size and have an opaque area of gel around them.
- Presentation is key, so how about topping with the spare Jujubes?
