They are only in season for about 2 weeks in late September. Their taste is crunchy, juicy, sweet, similar to a small apple with a hint of date aroma. Brilliant as a snack, in baking, in smoothies etc. You can also try to make dried jujubes yourself at home!
The fresh jujube fruit has 20x the Vitamin C content than citrus fruits!
